Greetings

Welcome to the first post in what will become a series of detailed examinations of places to visit around Azeroth! Aimed at roleplayers looking for personal homes, guild headquarters and lore-filled adventures, this blog will also be handy for those who just like to soak in the beauty that Warcraft has to offer. Each week I will examine a new location, helping roleplayers with information such as recommended level, faction friendliness, where to find it, player population of the area, and so on.

This launch coincides with the launch of Mists of Pandaria! Which is fitting I think when you consider the Wanderer’s Way of Li Li Stormstout and her uncle Chen:

Li Li says: It feels like we were in that forest forever. Let's go! We've got to explore the valley!

Chen Stormstout says: Don't be too hasty, Li Li. This is how I traveled Kalimdor: one stop at a time.

Li Li says: No wonder it took you so long, then. You can't explore anything sitting on your butt.

Li Li says: Come ON, Uncle Chen! What are we waiting for?

Chen Stormstout says: Relax, Li Li. We have all the time in the world to explore Pandaria. Take some time to enjoy the trip.

Li Li says: I would ENJOY the trip more if we were actually GOING somewhere!

The domain name of this blog with change soon, at the moment there is some trouble buying an address through Blogger, but this address will always redirect so never fear.

Before I go I just want to share this awesome thing that happened to me. Some random guy joined my guild and started giving out free Blizzard store mounts, he gave out at least 30 Heart of the Aspects for £17 each, and then started giving away gaming mice, keyboards, pets, Diablo 3, Starcraft 2 and stacks of 100k gold. He said he used to be a gold farmer due to the recession but was finally able to get a well paying real life job, so to undo some of the damage he did to WoW was giving away the remainder of his illicit earnings and some of the profit he made. He said he was going to all servers giving away a total of £2200 worth of goods, and still claimed that wasn't all the profit he made. Well, whether it was some marketing scheme for the gaming mice or something, that's still one of the coolest things I've seen in Warcraft. He finished up by saying "When you've been as successful as me in life you can afford to make others happy."
